Funding environmental improvements for your business

The Green Dragon Environmental Grant (www.greendragonems.com)

This grant scheme assists eligible organisations to purchase equipment or machinery that will directly help to reduce or eliminate their environmental impacts and improve their environmental management.

Proposed projects that meet the grant criteria will receive direct financial assistance of 30% of the investment, up to a maximum of £10,000.

Initial consultation to assess the suitability of the grant for your organisation is free - the only cost to eligible organisations is their share of the investment.

To benefit from the Green Dragon Environmental Grant, organisations must have achieved a recognised environmental management standard, such as Level 2 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard or ISO 14001 or EMAS.

The Green Dragon Standard is a stepped standard recognising effective environmental management. The Standard offers an environmental management system relevant to the specific needs of your company and rewards actions taken to achieve environmental improvements.
